Edinburgh Canal Festival and Raft Race - 26 Jun 2010

The Edinburgh Canal Festival and Raft Race will take place at Edinburgh Quay (Lochrin Basin at the end of the Union Canal at Fountainbridge) on Sat 26 Jun. Free boat trips  and raft race heats start from 10am. Ian Rankin will perform the official opening at noon and activities will start from 12:30pm.  These are scheduled to include:
  • Canoe taster sessions and a display
  • Bands (Risa Kagona, Ceilidh and Pipes)
  • Stalls
  • Trampolines and kiddy rides
  • Model boats
