As Cameron Rose (councillor for Southside/Newington) reports in his local newsblog: Chalmers Crescent will be closed this Thursday at the junction with Palmerston Road to allow a crane to work safely outside No 8. It should be a part day closure. http://tinyurl.com/cmsn8d
